Have an outstanding ticket with tech support on this one.

No problem with this function in the 2018 product and the xml file was a better option over midi file for some notation software like GuitarPro7. I have reset to factory settings and updated to build 306 64bit.

Update 10/7/19: Using workaround by reinstalling BIAB 2018 which works fine with xml.
Have not gotten any response from my ticket or posting. I was hoping build 312 would fix. I could not install the build and had to completely delete the BIAB folder and reinstall everything to get build 312. We are customers not testers. I have spent countless hours trying to work around bugs. To get an export of xml that is readable I had to reinstall BIAB 18. That does export xml properly and 2019 does not.

I found the build 312 did not fix the issue and had to reinstall 2018 once again to get the xml export function to work properly.

Looking at the number of builds since release and the number of fixes this product was never tested properly. Worked in software development and we called this testing in production. Learned my lesson and will never purchase again until all the builds are released.
We'll look into it. As I mentioned in my other post, you don't need to uninstall/reinstall - you can run Band-in-a-Box 2018 from the same folder if you need to.
Just was able to install build 315 and that fixed the xml issue. Thanks
