Hi ,

I was trying to follow the Audio Chord Wizard Tutorial on this link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48NpYmdCero

But I keep getting crashes whenever I press either "Analyze" or "Auto-Analysis" in order to analyse the chords of an audio file I've imported.

Any suggestions on how to get this to actually work ?

Mike

( My BiaB is up to date as is my MacOs - Catalina V 10.15.2. )
Hi,

Do you have 32bit version installed on your Mac, it runs on my Hi Sierra 10.13.26

look for Band-in-a-Box-32bit.app, if you can run it,

AudioChordWizard will only work if you click icon middle of your screen (tool icons) if you open AudioChordWizard from menubar, it won't work, or crash in a moment

Life could be strange when apps are 128bit wink

best regards
ismo
The 32 bit version does not run on Catalina. This is a bit problematic as there are some bugs in the 64 bit version where the only workaround is to open the 32 bit version and make changes, then close.
Hello Mike,

1. Could you please try this new build (318) and see if it still crashes?
https://nn.pgmusic.com/pgfiles/support/patches/bb2019_mac_update_build318.pkg

2. If so, does it generate an error report, or what is happening exactly and is there a way to duplicate that problem consistently? The built-in Audio Chord Wizard is not crashing at all in my testing with the current build. There were some issues prior to build 314.
