I have exactly the same problem even when I enter a very very short song. No crash report is entered. Maybe the staff at PG could try in on there iMacs and see if the problem is replicated there and sort this bug out.

Stupid question, but have you tried "Return to factory settings" in the HELP MENU? That often solves a lot of similar issues.

Thanks Donny, not a stupid question at all, wish I would have thought of it. I have just tried it and it worked fine 5 or 6 times after the reset, now it has reverted back to crashing the program again.

Welcome to Band-in-a-Box and to the forum! Are you testing with the same song file each time? If so there is a good chance the file is corrupt. I would return to factory settings again and then reconstruct the song file from scratch.

I have been testing with various songs . These songs have been of short duration and not in anyway complex. I will keep on experimenting until a solution is found.
