I uploaded a song that I was working on and made some changes but, I can't save it. I quit BIAB and reload it and try a new file and I still can't save it.
What steps are you taking to save the file?

I try to save the way I normally do. I click on File, then save or save as. Nothing happens when I click on save. The menu disappear but it doesn't save the file.
What OS are you running? There could be issues with Monterey.
I use Monterey and do not have this problem.

From the description, I'm guessing BIAB is picking an unexpected directory to save the file in.
It was working fine. It stopped saving files after I opened a song from 2018 and I made some changes on the chords. Then I couldn’t save it or any other song I created afterwards.
The issue has been fixed. I updated the Mac OS to Monterey 12.1
BIAB is saving the songs now.
