Apple's Catalina 10.15 Operating System has eliminated the ability to use 32bit programs on your computer. As a result, any version of Band-in-a-Box for Mac older than 2019 will not run on Catalina or higher.
If you have another computer with an older OS, you can continue to run your Band-in-a-Box 2018 or earlier software. Or as Mike mentioned, you can purchase an upgrade to the latest version. You can choose any PAK along the "earlier or crossgrade" row of the price chart:
https://www.pgmusic.com/bbmac.packages.htmPlease note that the Band-in-a-Box content you have from the earlier version will work fine - styles, RealTracks, Drums, demos, etc. - it is only the application that is incompatible. In addition, the Band-in-a-Box installer package will run on Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. This means that you can install an earlier Band-in-a-Box package on Catalina or higher (with all your existing content) and then upgrade it to the latest 64-bit Band-in-a-Box. You just won't be able to run the Band-in-a-Box application until you upgrade.
