In the past if you clicked on the icon to the left of title of a response to a particular topic, it would bring up a page with a link to just that response Which could be saved

This doesn’t seem to work anymore

I double-click on the URL in the browser and copy/paste. I never used what you mentioned.

When you want to create a link to a specific response within a thread click on the response header just to the right of the post icon. The URL at the top of the browser page reverts to the URL of that specific post. Then as Matt says you can copy and paste that URL. For example +++ HERE +++ is a post Eddie 1261 made in another thread.

Easiest way (for me) is to click the post number of the thread that you want. It will take you straight to that thread:



The URL of the post will also be available in the browser heading:
