I am trying to hook up my Korg O1w-fd to my fast track pro, signal is going through as to the fast track, but can't sync it up with Biab. Baby steps here would be great. I want to be able to play into Biab etc. I have the manual for the Korg but it doesn't explain much for that, it was made in 1992, if I need a new controller, please make it a cheap one, don't want the wife to get upset with more new additions..Thanks

Well first the basics. In order to use the K as a controller you need to get midi into the computer. Here are your options:
1. The K has USB and can go directly in. You would then choose the K as the midi inout driver.
2. The K has midi outs. You need a midi to USB adater. You choose the adapter as the midi input driver. They're cheap.
The FT does not enter into the equation as it's not a midi interface. It can get the AUDIO from the K into the computer but I assume you want a controller at this point.

How to Make Your 01 GM Compatible

To be GM compatible, your 01 must have all the Progs and a Drum Set changed to match the GM specification. You can do this with a floppy or over MIDI.

Yep, looking for the adapter now, seeing as the old board has no such thing as usb, imagine that, back in 92 it didn't exsist........Thanks for input
