....I almost completely forgot how to use RB. Picking styles and they are generating MIDI tracks instead of audio and NO idea how to stop that.... Can't find a drum track even CLOSE to what I need.... How quick the stuff goes bad when you don't use it....

That's for sure. I started learning RT a few months back on the advice from Rharv and switched from Sonar X1. I opened Sonar a few days ago and couldn't get it to do anything. Maybe it's just age Eddie....just speaking for myself you know.

Oh, it's age.... I am now walking into rooms and not remembering why.

Right on, I'm walking into doors and I don't know why.

Could be a song there.

I'm walking into rooms and I don't know why
I'm talking to the moon now don't ask me why
and I dance to every tune though I'm really shy
maybe it's because I'm in love (or a nut case)
da da da da...

Eddie, remember styles can be either MIDI or RealTracks or combination of the two. Filter on RT's only if that's what you want, and you should be good to go. At least that's how I think I remember it, or something...where was I?

Sorry Eddie, it doesn't get any better, believe me.

See? That's how it is after just a month hiatus. I had to go in and reassign the innies and outies and almost didn't remember where.

I am blaming age, other stresses, age, other problems that keep me busy, age, home repair stuff, age....

That saying "use it or loose it" is really true and gets truer the older you get.

The other day I spent 10 minutes looking for my wireless earphones. I couldn't find them anywhere.
I reached up to scratch my head and there they were.

I put things into my future path...on the stairs,on the floor in front ofthe door...etc.
the only room I DONT forget why I entered is the bathroom .

Retirement looms...so there's an upside..

And it gets worse.

Sitting here after dinner, I nodded off for a bit. Woke up because some noise disturbed me. Kind of a whirring, like a deep hum.

Forgot that I put a load of laundry in downstairs, and the laundry equipment is directly below the couch where I sit with my laptop.....

Careful you don't break a hip

Soon I'll be singing "When I'm 64" . . . .if I can remember the words . . . .or remember why I want to remember the words.

Cheers

And always remember the longer you live
The sooner you bloody well die!
