They just did a very brief piece on ABC World News Tonight. He was 92 and, for those who don't know, the father of Nora Jones. He also had a son who played in the group "Shakti" with John McLaughlin. He became widely known for his association with George Harrison of the Beatles.

Sad news indeed, but 92 isn't such a bad age.

He also collaborated with the great classical violinist Yehudi Menhuin (is that how you spell his name?) for over thirty years. RIP.
