Haven't read the snopes article yet. But it must be a hoax because they don't inhale the beer into their lungs where the Helium affects their vocal cords when the exhale their lungs content when speaking.

Actually they are very hard to understand and the conversation doesn't make a lot of sense: You sound like... you sound like... oh [*****]... and some more stuff in that manner.

But it's funny, and all of the other above.

Yes, I watched it recently. There is a transition in the vision between just before they take their first mouthful. That's the bit where they inhale the helium, no doubt.
