Seems to be legit. I downloaded last night. Will spend a little time to see what is here. However, prior similar efforts with Musescore (also free) have been very impressive. There is a lot to like about Musescore. For us closet composers these offerings are pretty darn good.

yep I DL'd it into my work computer because it's only a 64 bit application. Don't know that I'll ever use it because I don't write that way..... but I have it and it's operational.

It's the basic version and they want to sell you on the upgrades. Not a bad marketing strategy.
