Learn scales properly..... That one was awesome.

Years ago I focused on nothing but scales, chords and arpeggios for about a year and it took most of the mystery out of the guitar and it started making sense to me.

The fingerboard started looking like a road map instead of a confusing bunch of frets and strings.
