I can't get this iconic song about an event from 50 years ago out of my mind.

Kent, Ohio May 4, 1970
I knew exactly what song you were talking about from the title of your thread. What are the chances of that?
Because of the virus, all of the May 4th events were canceled. (I worked for Kent for 32 years and my office was very near the museum.)

On another May 4th front, I know a guy who was in the national guard unit at Kent that day. He said he doesn't know (if he killed or injured one or more of the students) and he thinks about those "kids" every single day.

If you ever get up this way, the visitor's center is worth the stop. (And they open back up.)

Something about the 4th. June 4th Beijing.
Song has more meaning now than ever. Who would've thought.

Neil Young has a real knack for calling out uncomfortable truths. Here's another one of his songs from about 50 years ago;

It's not just the the southern man that is guilty of this. We all are.

Systemic racism and RAMPANT police brutality are all on display for us thanks to everyone having cameras on their phones and showing just how prevalent it is.

As this song says, "How long, how long?"

I hope before I die to be able to see actual change and not just lip service so I'll know my son and hopefully my grandchildren will live in a better world.
