Hi folks, havn't been around much lately due to ongoing health problems.Had a swollen LH lower abdomen area since a few weeks and last week I had some really bad chest pains. Ended up in hospital last week. They did a CT scan and discovered my abdomen had separated. They can't do anything. My main quest is to lose as much weight as I can to help heal it.
Because of this I won't be playing much of my accordions as their weight is rather heavy. However, I'm getting to grips with the amazing Tyros 5 keyboard and it's such a joy to play it, even if my left hand needs much much more practise.

It won't stop me doing my two radio shows either which I really love doing. I'm still on the lookout for easy listening material to use on my Easy does it show. I'll play any form of genre as long as it's relaxing on the ears. Country, jazz, pop ballads, classical, opera, musicals etc.....

Send me a PM if you're interested and I'd love to include your music / songs. I've featured a few biab members over the last few weeks, so feel free to drop me a message.

Take care dear friends the world's not in a good place just now

You might consider getting the electronic version of the Fast 80 by Michael Mosley? I'm a big fan of intermittent fasting, specifically only eating between certain times. He's the author of the 5:2 diet but this includes a lot of new material related to other concepts. I have a couple of friends on it who have lost 4 kg in 2 weeks and one has now lost nearly 8 kg in less than 4 weeks. That's better than I achieved on a 5 day fast (which I did purely for interest). It has recipes and doesn't really include full-on fasting as even at it's toughest you're eating 800 calories of pretty tasty food. Anyway, from someone who's gone from 103 kg to 85 kg (still obese) it might help. I'm planning to embark on a variation of it shortly. Still reading the book. It also helps answer some of those nagging questions dieters always have or are faced with.
