Sad news. Opened for him once and played several of his tunes. Really good guy. Wildman, party dude, but great guy!

Taught me about life when he sang (but did not write) "A whole lot of things that I may have done but I ain't never had too much fun."

Always forward. Never straight. RIP, Commander.

He was one of my favorites!
