I was looking at Facebook Marketplace and there was an ad posted for an IYV Les Paul clone. I did some research. They are a Korean company with the factory that makes the guitars is in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. (There's some irony there, eh?)

Someone bought a pallet load of returned electronics. There were 6 of these, in boxes, unused, packaging still intact, in that pallet purchase. My friend bought one Sunday and brought it over. It is so gorgeous I decided I had to have one. And here it is.

The photo doesn't do the emerald green flame maple justice. It literally shines. It plays surprisingly well. Also surprised to see that it's a pink mahogany body with a through neck and an arched top. I have not yet put it through an amp. The neck is straight. I will probably have the side of the frets filed down some because there is a tiny bit of sprout. I'll have to take it in to have the intonation set up correctly anyway so I'll let my guy file the frets while he has it. I checked the pickups. The neck reads out at 7.91 and the bridge at 13.80 (with the usual +/- flutter of about .02 ohms).

I honestly bought this guitar for the same reason I married 3.0. Because it's beautiful. Now I need to find someone who reads Korean to translate what is on the truss rod cover.

Don't tighten more than 1/8th turn or you may strip the threads.

According to Google Lens and translation, this is what the truss rod cover means. But I still want to find someone who reads Korean. And off to the internet I go to find a Korean owned business in town.

Destiny I assume has to do with them using Destiny CNC Wound pickups.

Guitar looks great - it'd be perfect in an Irish band.

Nice cushions too.

Great idea. Eddie needs to get a couple of violins and a bodhrán player.
A new direction for you, Eddie grin (life's never dull)

Hello, this is my first post on this forum,
i made this account just in order to reply to this thread:
the guitar in your Picture looks almost identical to the AIO Wolf WLP 750T a guitar sold in the US by "All in one Guitars".
LInk to their website
i actually stumbled over this post mainly because i tried to do some research on that guitar, while searching for the pickups.
the only difference i can spot is the color of the accents and knobs.
i would love to know some more on the story behind this guitar...

Cool looking guitar Eddie. Please post a sound clip with the amp cranked up so we can check out the sustain.
