Had some fun with this one.
My goal this year is to add more background vocals.
Added some loops from loopcloud.
All comments are welcome.

He's Gone Again

Here I go down that lonesome road.
My bags are packed I carry a heavy load.
And Where I go I guess that nobody knows.

Oh! How I love the spinning of the wheels.
With the windows down the feelings quite unreal.
I never knew freedom could feel the way it feels.

Bridge

As the hours move on the miles tick on by.
I got white line fever and drooping of my eyes.
I'll look to the heavens and see those star-lite skies

As the sun comes up I don't know what to do.
In an hour or so the sky will match my blue.
Guess I'll turn this around and head on back to you

Nice one Rob,
I think there needs to be something emphasized in the 1st part of the 1st bridge prior to the solo guitar
The bovox are cool though I suspect they may benefit from a little more stereo spread.
Cool - yeaaaahhh at the end.
Enjoyed it!
Good one Rob. This would make a good road trip song. Cool effects on the end too!
Thank you Ray

Good, driving song that has a nice Blues Brothers vibe to it that I really like.

The icing on the cake would have been a catchy chorus that everyone can sing along to, but I like it already a lot as it is now.

Well done!
Rob...classic'50s rock...man "the King" could've killed this one...great job with the BGV's...super track, band and arrangement...love the vocals...what a great listening experience!!
Many thanks Brad.

Excellent tune Rob. Cool vocal and BGVs. Cool groove to the backtrack as well.
There are some songs that are so much fun to listen that they slip past my inner critic I just enjoy listening.

This was one of those songs. laugh

Love the chorus at the end!
Hello B.D. Thanks for listening.

Good one! I also enjoyed the part at the end. Tom
Rockabilly at its best.
Great vocal and groove.
Super mix.
How did you manage to get The Jordanaires as the backing singers?
Loved it.
Hi Rob,

My kinda music - catchy beat and good vocals.

Nigel

Lots of fun right from that sensational opening, Rob. SO cool with that 50s vibe. The band is perfect, and you know I really like your voice. Man, what a terrific first selection for your new goal with BGVs. More. More. Encore.
Hi Rob,

A real classic rocker!
You did a good job on this. The bg was a bit funny "oh, oh"

We had the same car as shown on the front of your SoundCloud page!
I was 8. My father changed his Peugeot 404 for this one.
We were lucky! We had a very bad accident, but we survived. If we had the other car, we surely didn't.
Years later in Cuba I hired a similair car and drove around with my son. Was a great sensation.
Makes your song extra nice! Those memories...

Good stuff. I liked the backing vocals (maybe bring them up a touch?).

Enjoyed it.

Peter

Love the chorus at the end!
Love the retro sound. The answer back vocals are a nice touch.
Mix sounds good.
What fun!

Love the easy going groove. Feels like a live performance and you're really connected to the audience.
