This is wonderful revival song...reviving amazing vocals from years ago with BIAB technology! As a Christian, I love the lyrics, but the way you build the intensity and modulate from key to key really makes this production shine. Great breakdown section as well!

Excellent production and arrangement, but the highlights are your vocals and those great harmonies.

Hi Dan,

Man, those vocals are crazy good!

Good write, production, and arrangement.

Really well done!

Dan,

Absolutely brilliant . . . man, the vocals really shine here! Those harmonies are sick . . . rich, full and compelling. Outstanding in every aspect! And what a catchy chorus . . . No one can listen to that and not tap a foot and feel the head rocking. Nice production touch with that tambouring. Excellent mix!

All my best to you,

Deej

That is beautiful, Dan. Vocals, band, mix, all of it.

Janice’s Mama was also baptized in a creek at a brush arbor meeting and we loved to hear her talk about it.

We've spent many an hour watching gospel quartets from the Blackwood Brothers to much later ones and this is standout!

This is another gem that we’re glad you revived!

J&B

PS Billboard award? Wow!

Great job. That's the first of that genre I think I have heard here and it sets the bar mighty high indeed.

Southern Gospel.... there was a time I was into that style. I had picked up a piano from a church for practically nothing. I was also hearing a number of local gospel groups.... it's certainly a very popular music style here in NC.

Regarding getting baptized in the creek behind the church.... My SIL decided to get baptized at the church she was attending in the mountains.... in November.... yeah, that was some SERIOUSLY COLD water. I'd have said... this is gonna have to wait until July or something.... even in July that water was barely in the low 60s.

The mix on the song is nice too.

Great production and harmonies.
Sounds like I was listening in a big room.
As Brad says, "The Oak Ridge Boys".

Hey Hacker...thanks for your response...yeah, I was baptized in a country creek in August of 1973 and the water was chilly in the summertime....nevertheless glorious! thanks again...Dan

What a cool vocal Dan. I can see why you have done so well. I get the Oakridge Boys vibe as well. Loved it

Such a treat to hear all of your songs, Dan. Such variety and all pointing to the same reward. Man, I dig those vocals. Outstanding!! Love the gospel feel. Very very uplifting. And you always cleverly raise the praise with modulation. I knew it was coming, and couldn't wait for the a capella break. Very dynamic!!
