I moved down to the Daytona Beach Florida area a couple of years ago, and wrote this song while walking on the beach boardwalk beautiful Sunday afternoon with my wife.

It was one of those songs that just popped out of nowhere fully formed.

I'm thinking of presenting it to the Daytona City Chamber of Commerce for their tourism advertising. I may need to change some of the lyrics, to make it more family friendly.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for listening.

Hi Elliott ...

This is a really cool song! Your vocal is perfect for it. The backing tracks capture the definition of the lyric and vocal to a T. What stands out to me the most is the clarity in every backing track and your vocal.

Thanks for a super cool listen!

Good to hear your voice again...lovely harmonies too.
I'd expect death metal from a Daytona Demon.
I like the majority of the song but I'm not a fan of location specific lyrics.
The dynamics are cool - the tempo changes and the accent baritone guitar trem make this a cracker.

Really great sounding song Elliot.

How did you get that Greetings from Asbury Park postcard look!?

Awesome!

Cool tune. Very yacht rock styled...a-la Jimmy Buffett.

a couple of vocal tuning artifacts in a few places. but not a deal breaker.

I liked this.

Oh, yeah... YES! Like this, Elliott. What a great sauntering feel so perfect for a walk on the beach. Yes, the chamber would be well advised to run a whole campaign around this cool ditty. I really like you vocal (that's you, right?). You background group was very well chosen and I like how you show just how powerful a tambourine can be.

Elliot,

A good write.
A solid production. Everything in the right place.
Some really nice simple guitar touches.
Nice, relaxed vocals.
Well mixed.
Very Zac-Brown-Band-ish...

Laid back and catchy - I like it! smile

Like Herb, I'm hearing some artifacts in the harmonies, but it's not a big deal.

That’s a cool song and video and had us imagining the nice ocean breeze. It brought back memories for Janice of family vacations in her teenage years.

Nice track choice and a good mix to go with them.

Congrats on the radio play also!

Enjoyed it!
