Here's the link to my song "Forgotten Fall":

http://www.jimgsolos.com

It's the 3rd song down the list from the album of the same name. The song originated inside Band in a Box as a Melodist creation. The song title came from the title maker button. The main acoustic guitar rhythm is:

380 Guitar, Acoustic, Strumming Syncopated Sugar Ev

The RealDrums are:
NashvilleEven16^2-SideStick,HiHat

The BIAB style for the song:
ALWAYS (styles disk 27)

I used a strat sounding patch from my Roland VG8EX guitar processor for most of the guitar leads. It output a clean guitar channel and a processed channel that I blended together inside Sonar Producer 8.53. The bass and rhoads keyboard are BIAB midi tracks. Inside Sonar, the keyboard used the Studio Instruments electric piano synth. I played the midi keyboard pad for the chorus parts using Reason 3.04 NNXT sampler and a mellotron string-flute patch. This was rewired into Sonar. I did the clarinet lead parts on my Roland Gr1 and Gr20 guitar synthesizers linked together with one midi performance.

There's 14 songs there you can listen to, all started within Band in a Box. Also, there's a separate page on the website where you can play all the songs from my first cd demo. Thanks for all the great advice I have received from the forums over the years. I hope this is giving back something in return.

Jim,

Very nice - really enjoyed this track. It has a great Santana feel and groove to it. Thanks for sharing.

Using IE8 in a 32 bit Win Pro system all I get is a white box where the song list should be. Are you working on the site? I’ll try later.

Mario:
I had two other people report that problem, but most can see the songlist. I don't know what the problem is. I'd take suggestions for a better mp3 player. Perhaps the free one I'm using doesn't like Internet Explorer.

I get a picture of you with your ax on the left of the screen and a big white box on the right of the screen. No music anywhere.

I get the white box Too.

Sorry about everyone's trouble getting the songs. I stay away from Internet Explorer. I'm getting proper results in Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome. The last two are much faster than Firefox. If anyone else reports, can you list your web browser?

My mp3 streaming player works off Adobe Flash, but the flash plug-in does not work in Internet Explorer 8.0. There's a way to re-install it, according to various forums, but I couldn't get it to work. A lot of people out there getting white screens instead of my song list probably won't be able to fix it either. A long term solution would be to put my songs on a music website and have a link back to jimgsolos.com. For now, I hope some of you using Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Opera can enjoy the songs.

Excellent! Nothing more to say.

I changed the mp3 player so it works in all browsers, but "Forgotten Fall" is now song #6. This mp3 player creates an alphabetical song list on the fly as it checks the song files in my mp3 directory, so I no longer have control over my song order. Dang. Also, when I change pages in Internet Explorer 8, I get a memory error. Is anyone else having that problem in Internet Explorer? As before, it still works much better in any other browser.

Jim,

Very cool! Some really nice guitar work, I liked the guitar synth as well.

Greg

PS I get that memory error too... but then it does go to the page.

Greg:
Thanks for the compliment. I'm trying to get tech support for this memory problem in Internet Explorer.
