Did this about ten months ago.

Last night:
Re-styled with _heehaw realstyle.
revoiced using Forte.

Used PG 5 band eq on both the Guitar melody and one on the honkytonk solo.

Used PG Dynamics default settings with gain set down to 2
Marvel GEQ with side band upside down smiley.
MStereo expander set to Full
K-meter and RB meters for setting levels.

No recording, only rendering.... ????

Hi Frank, this really had my feet tapping. How did you render the guitar part?? Was it via the keyboard?? In any case I really liked this. Nice use of the program. Well done

Cheers

Nelson,

I actually created the original version using melodist
and with repeated trys to get a decent MIDI song. About 8-10 months ago.
Soloist was repeatedly used to get a nice "melody" type music.
All of it was midi.

Selected a realtracks style tryed several then redid the song.
Everything was rendered clicking the WAV icon. Checked One wav per track
stereo out, and normalize boxes. This creates a separate wav track for all
parts of the song. Then you can load this with drag and drop from the folder
where its created, one at a time into separate tracks in RealBand.
This allows you to work on mix, FX and other items making the sound sound better.

In another posting, found out that some number of members do it this way.
Once you get the steps down, works very nice.

Been working more and more with realtracks, main reason is the
live sounds and beauty of the style combinations. These live performers
are professional in their own rights, so we are lucky to have these fabulous
tools to use. Second reason was
the ability to "Render" rather than record. The melody and soloist are
Midi's with some harmony attached. Then when working on more final mix
in RB put a 5 band eq on each melody and soloist with settings to improve the
VSTi sounds. The rest was 4 other plugins, on the output side of things.

Still very green on the mixing side, learning how to hear the music. So many
variations to this. Our grown daughter called it travelin music.
Realtracks and their Styles make the music.

Thanks for the nice compliments.
