I have decided to post a song that was completly written by Band In a Box just to showcase what the program can do.
I just told Band In a Box to create a melody and chords, and it came up with the following song.

The only thing I did was to tell the instruments where to play.

I will also post the MGU file for your perusal (you will have to purchase Band In a Box for this )

The Song is titled Summer Dreams

I've never tried the composition feature of BIAb, I'll have to give that a whirl some time.

Yes, Band In a Box is a very poweful program.
You may need to find a good combination of chords to get the program to give you useful melody.
