LOVED IT!
Great groove, excellent backing tracks and lyrics and one super vocal!
Add a couple of steel drums and it would be something Jimmy Buffet would sing.
Two thumbs up.
Malcolm,
Great music, great fun, love the spoken word
as much as your vocals.
61 thru 64 lived in Denver, Colorado.
At that time it was a wild party town.
There are some number of nights your lyrics
pretty much described me, albeit I'm not sure.....LOL.
Thanks for your hard work, humor in the music and sharing!
Malcolm,
Great job on the vocals and production! Clever song.

hi malcolm love it great job mix and vocals right on thanks for sharing eric
I can relate met my first wife at a bar where she was a dancer and I was a drunk! Cool Song Malcolm!
Malcolm,
That was great fun! You carry off the spoken word vocal well. I'll have to try that sometime.

Thanks for all the great comments, for my songs as well as others.
This is a great forum, I wish I had discovered it a long time ago.
As a writer and former demo producer I appreciate that the contributors to this forum can discern that fine line between pointing to parts of a work that might need closer attention by the submitter and declaring how the work should be rewritten.
Malcolm, I'm late to the party on this'un. Boy, it's got a fabulous beat! I like Mario's idea of steel drums but that would take you out of the one man band arena, unless you use backing tracks. Your guitar style is very contagious. Makes the listeners want more. QED. Excellent!
Thanks for the post.
I could probably use some Middle Eastern instruments on the chorus, maybe a snake or two.
