... well, I was yesterday and came up with this little diddy...

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11588626

Used the CITY2 style. Comes with RD. Left bass & guitar in MIDI. Added Melodist: 1317 medley (Chorus).... really shines at the end, I think. Lead guitar are my arthritic fingers.

Just sharing, in case you want to get into a funk as well

Cheers,
Mike

Hey Mike,

Pretty good for arthritic fingers.

Appreciate it, Tim .... takes about an hour to get those fingers going. Get through the piece, then rest and back to the pain...

Got to love getting older LOL!

Thanks, Tim!

I can sort of relate.

Getting arthritis in the thumb of my left hand.
Can only play the guitar these days for a short while and have to stop.
Luckily doesn't effect my keyboard playing yet though.

Yeah - keyboard is still okay with me as well... Guitar is becoming more and more difficult, though. Got to seize the moment while you still can, I guess.

Mike,

Hey, this is really nice. I like the energy. Ever since I heard Stevie Wonder's Superstition (way back in the day) I have been hooked on this kind of beat. I agree with Tim, not too shabby for arthritic fingers!

Thanks for sharing this one!

This late, I'm actually having trouble typing this. But, we just move on to the next opportunity and project.

Appreciate your comments

Hey Mike,

That's some pretty fine pickin dude! That lick you do at the end @ 3:46 is HOT!
I also listened to "Having Fun"... Some very nice acoustic stuff going on there. I'd love to jam with ya.
Anyway, great job.

Thanks again.

Nice work Mike. You sure know your way around that guitar! I liked the 'forward' energy in this.
