Noel96 posted a new song with this same title...this one was written a few years ago, definitely a 30's-style, dedicated to my Dad...the kind of music I used to hear him play all the time when I was a kid. I also made the lyrics wrap around 5-syllable words. Hope you enjoy!
Jazz ballad style..

Hi Tano,
I'm so glad you posted this! It's a really clever song. The lyrics are a real credit to you. There are some exceptionally inventive rhymes. I was in awe! These lyrics also very clearly demonstrate the power of rhyme when used proficiently. My compliments to the singer, too. Her voice is a perfect fit for these lyrics.
Really, really nice work.
All the best,
Noel
Tano,
This is absolutely DELIGHTFUL! You captured the lyric style of the era so perfectly! Wonderfully written. And to top it off, the singer sounds like you plucked her right out of the 30's. Nicely recorded, too.
For me, the piano solo is a bit "heavy" (and a bit long) - would have perferred it to have a lighter sound - to match the feel of the song. And some lush strings would go with it well (wouldn't it be nice if they were part of BIAB?). Not to take away from the fact that I really liked the song...
