Bit out of my genre, albeit like most type's of music.
Did something different this time.
Used the F5 key in BIAB to "Mute" & "Back to Normal" for Sax and Trumpet
tracks.

Then using Realband did some number of gain changes. Felt this
was lot simpler than making all the changes in the audio files.

Used PG Dynamics with gain of 2 and rest normal settings.
Used Sonitus Multiband with Normal Master Medium preset.
used MStereoExpander with Full preset.
Used K-meter Normal with peak display
Also had to cut back the Full Mixer output a bit.
Also Panned sax left -10
Also Panned Trumpet right 10
Was trying to simulate where the two entities might be located.

Hi Frank,
Sounds good. The only thing I would change would be the drums. That particular drum style is a special one, which is a 5/4 time sig, and shouldn't be used with 4/4 time sig styles.

Peter,

Thank you for compliments.

I did not like the drums when mixing, but didn't know about
the 5/4 signature. Just thought cause it was original part
of the style, would use it. My ears did not lie, but
simply did not know what was wrong.
Next time will read my own posting bit better.

Will fix bit later today...

Completed drum changes as Dr.Gannon recommended.

Within Jazz realm, not sure of drum levels, so set bit lower than
would with country mix.

Used:

RealDrums in Song: JazzOlder^1-a:Brushes , b:Brushes Lively

With Jazz, its tough to select which set is "best"
