A little story: a few weeks ago I made a cross-country plane trip..just after receiving BIAB 2013..I spent the entire time "constructing" several songs. I think it's so great to have a tool kit like this..you can "architect" your music while being away from mic/keyboard/live instruments...and get so close to finished product!
I worked on 3 songs: "Django', which I posted the other day, this bluegrass tune, and one other that I'm just finishing up.

I wanted to use BIAB's bluegrass styles, and, after completing all the music, I learned about this place near my town, Fiddler's Grove, where they have one of the longest-running old-time fiddle competitions...I'd be interested to hear if anyone's ever been there!

"Fiddler's Grove"

I'm heading 'cross the Yadkin river, for the Blue Ridge hills
Daddy's banjo and my grandpa's fiddle, come to show my skills
Down in Fiddler's Grove
Down in Fiddler's Grove

Dad and Grandpa lived on Brushy Mountain, played right here every May
Tales of music that they keep recountin', up to this present day
Down in Fiddler's Grove
Down in Fiddler's Grove

Western Carolina's got the best fiddlers
They play that bluegrass real sweet
Double-stoppin', fancy chopping, slidin', and shufflin'
And my, that blessed ramblin' beat!
Tap your feet!

Folks jumpin' on the stage and cloggin', heel and toe, stomp that shoe!
Masters coolin' DOWN THEIR bows with rosin, listen up- there's somethin' new!
Down in Fiddler's Grove
Down in Fiddler's Grove
Yes-sir, I'm down in Fiddler's Grove!
Yes indeed.
--
Western Carolina's got the best fiddlers
They play the hottest howlin' licks
Mandolins and 5-string banjoes, double bass and dobro
The band can't hold their flamin' picks!
Blessed day!

Fiddlers showin' up at Van Hoy's bandstand, come in, start a jam!
Huddle with a banjo or a mandolin man, join in, it's quite a slam!
Down in Fiddler's Grove
Down in Fiddler's Grove
God Lord, I'm here in Fiddler's Grove!
Yes indeed.

Hey Tano,

I liked when you added the harmony in. For some reason - at least to me it sounded like you got more comfortable singing it after the break.

What always impresses me with you Tano is your creative spirit. It's always interesting to hear what you've come up with next.
