Very good song, wonderful mix and production combined with a solid vocal.
I Like!
Later,
FULLY COMMITTED VOCALS!
A fun listen!
Lawrence,
Awesome song - start to finish. Outstanding vocals - and a terrific "band" to back it up!
I thought the drums needed to be much more prominent - more a "central part of the mix" - they seem a bit "in the background" - get that gruv out there!
Cool stuff!
floyd
Hi Lawrence,
solid blues with a cool voice.
Guenter
Absolutely brilliant!
I love the blues when it's done well and that was just perfect.
Inspired vocals and a great live feel to the mix. It was like being at a John Mayall concert. More Please.
ROG.
Great blues and a fine realtracks band. I'm a sucker for the 385 reso guitar -- used it a lot. I'm glad to see that "dirty" harp used well -- something we haven't come up with yet on our blues efforts. It sounds awesome with the vocal. I'm with Floyd on the drums -- pump em up. I've been reticent myself to bring them on our endeavors up due to my years of playing acoustic bluegrass and blues sans drums. But I've learned that if you're gonna throw them in...might as well get max use of them.
Janice and I both really enjoyed this tune!
Bud
thanks to all for taking a listen. and thank you Floyd and Bud for the mixing notes.
I saw singer/guitarist/trumpet player(!)- Carolyn Wonderland a couple of summers ago at an outdoor show and she changed my world with regard to letting loose on vocals. I had never heard anything so inspired!
It's all been said. Great job!
As folk have said, nice mix and vocals.
Add some background noise and clicking of glasses, and I'm there.
Hi, Lawrence !
Could hardly be much better
than this ? I enjoyed your blues
very much !
Cheers
Dani
Loved it!
It sounds like John Mayall and Paul Butterfield jamming!
This is a keeper.
