The wife isn't too happy with this one. Some people just don't have a sense of humor. Oh well, in the doghouse again. Uh oh sounds like another song title.
I played the Pedal Steel and the Telecaster lead and the vocals.

Tommy,
Another good one. Good old fashion Country. It's cool to hear someone actually playing the pedal steel.
".. no one cares what you had for breakfast..." < classic!
floyd
Great work Tommy! A sentiment overdue in song! The production on this is very professional, and your playing is superb.
John
Classic country indeed. Great hook and man, how true. Re FB who wants to know every time somebody's baby pharts, or what store somebody just visited, or what grill they are at? "Get your face outa FB" is much much broader statement than just your song IMO.
As always your picking is great and the lyrics are clever, fun and have a cool message. The mix is great and the rhythm nails the classic country feel a la, Ernest Tubb, etc.
Hi Tommy,
Not my genre, but I like your guitar work.
Guenter
All I can add is WOW!
This is pro all the way. Super lyrics, I love the breakfast-facebook lyric!
Great singing and harmonies, and I was super impressed with your pedal steel and Tele work!
You have just raised the country genre standard on the forum!
Tommy,
Another really solid song, well written, with some really clever lines! Good job!
Steve
LOL! Ain't it the truth...
You are one versatile talented guy.
The vocal on this is super.
I'll echo everybody else's comments... then add that I was amused by the FACEBOOK and TWITTER logos on your SoundClick player
side note:
this is a completely different problem for dogs

Floyd, Thanks for the comments, I always enjoy what you have to say.
John, Thanks for listening,I think Brad Paisley has a song called Facebook Friends, but I don't know of any others.
Bud, Thanks for your comments,Oops I think I just Pharted!
Guenter ,Thanks for giving country a chance, I've got some Blues in the pipeline.
Floyd, Thanks for your comment about the breakfast line-the whole song is built around that.
Mario, Thanks for listening, I always look forward to your comments.
Steve, I believe I rushed the playing a bit and hopefully I will get back and redo the parts. Thanks for the comments
Sundance, Thanks for your nice remarks.
Pat, TOO FUNNY. Got a good laugh out of that one - so did my dogs.
Great song and I do like your pedal steel playing.
Yeh Facebook...hmmm

Alyn
ps Pat, good cartoon LOL
Hi Tommyad,
I like this song a lot.
Wish I could play guitar as well as you.
Keep em' coming.
George
Great song.
I agree 100% on FB.... posting what you're cooking.... dang, it always looks like something the dog threw up onto the carpet.
I just decided this weekend to discontinue my FB account.... suspending in a few days. This morning I posted to that effect and if my "friends" wanted to keep in touch to PM me for other means of contact.....so far only one has responded.
I guess, If I haven't seen you in 20 years there IS a reason for that.
One nit on the song..... tune the guitar a bit better.
Love the song.
Tommy, the PSG sounds a lot like Jay McDonald's style. He played in The Buckaroos in the very early days of Buck Owens. I don't know what happened to Jay.
I liked your song.
Excellent work lyrics flow smooth, and the choice of style is perfect mix is great. Thanks for sharing!
