My vocals and guitar.

Recorded in Pro Logic9 and mastered in Ozone5.

Thanks in advance to all that take the time to listen and comment. I really appreciate the feedback.

nice tune..... more of blues jazz funk style tune. I like the unison vox.

nicely crafted lyrics.

clean picking.... with a slightly brittle sound to the tone.

Oh yeah... you're really gonna stack up the points by calling her a "drama queen"..... lol....

Enjoyed the song. I think most couples have experienced what you sing about in their lifetime. Without communication things stay the same. Excellent singing and playing...

Tommy,

You got the voice for this kind of tune, man. I especially enjoyed the octave down unison parts. Very cool. Could use a bigger, brasher ending, IMHO.

Tommy,

If this song was a jigsaw puzzle, every piece fits perfectly in its proper place and its looking good.

As floyd and aleck have already said, the vocal duo you do with yourself is great. I also agree with aleck about the ending. Something bigger sounding would be worth trying if you ever revisit the arrangement.

Other than that, you kept my interest levels on high from start to finish.

All the best,
Noel

Hi, Tommy !:))

A nice tune, very well
executed and produced.
But, you better keep your
wife satisfied. True love is
so hard to find nowadays they say
(at least in the song Way up North to
Alaska, you know !:)) (Lol)

Cheers

Herb, Scott, and Dani, Everthing is cool with the wife. After all it's just a song. Thanks for listening and commenting.
Aleck and Noel, I think a different ending is a good idea. I always struggle with the available endings and find it difficult to find natural sounding ways to end a song. Thanks for the kind comments. Tom

very enjoyable and laid back song, everything fits perfectly.
Endings are very difficult to do with Real Styles...they either work or don't , no in between IMHO.

My take on the ending is a slow fade out with a guitar solo.

Tom,

Nice guitar work (as always) and an interesting switch for you...
Good mix. I think a long fade with that guitar "doing the talking" would have been a perfect way to end this one...

I enjoyed this all the way around...the unison is a different twist and the mix works well to support the vocals. Nice.
