Hi, folks !
Tired of Life ? No, every now and then
one has to freak out. That is what I have
done here with my first ever hard rock instro.
I am not a good guitarrist and my Ovation
Celebrity acoustic really would need new strings,
but I happened to find the dirtiest possible
Amps so.....................To be honest with
you, I think it was Floyd who suggested to me
to come up with a rock tune, well...........
I guess this will get you in perfect Christmas mood ?

Hi Dani
well your poor old Ovation will certainly need new strings after that!
Noisy, undisciplined and Good Fun!!
Maybe waiting for the snow to come is getting to you! lol!
Thumbs up!
cheers
ian
Hi, Ian my good old rocker friend !:))
Thanks buddy for your kind comments ! (lol):)
I must admit it became undisciplined
as my old fingers could not take
the treatment (lol) !:))
It is good to thoroughly rock
every now and then don´t you think ?
I used to play rhytm guitar in our
school band The Bananas..................lol.
Cheers
Dani
Love that nasty sound!
Richard
Hi, Richard !
Thank you for your kind comment !:))
I tried to find the nastiest meanest sound !
Doesn´t sound like an acoustic ? (lol)
Oh Boy, this does one good, just like spa
beauty treatment ! lol !:))
Cheers
Dani
Loved it. Hear a little Ventures going on there as well.....
Hi, Scott !:))
Thanks for your kind comment !:))
Yes, Ventures, yes The Bananas
used to play Ventures too....Cruel Sea etc.
As the rhytm guitarrist I always
got away a little easier .....(lol)!!
Cheers
Dani
I was a Ventures fanatic in high school! Thanks for the trip down memory lane with a cool production and guitar.
Hi, Bud & Janice !:))
Thank you both for the kind comments !:))
I can well understand that you were
Ventures fans as was almost every one
all over the world !:)) (chuckle) !!!
Cheers
Dani
Dani, I definetly agree with the ventures comment. Now the ovation can join the ranks of the surf guitars. Good job on exploring outside the box. It really did make me think back to those melodies on the old guitar instrumentals. Thanks for posting. Tom
Hi, Bud & Janice !:))

Dani
Ahhh, but I was there when it was originally happening. I graduated from HS in 1963.
Dani, my main man!
Did you know that DROCK spelled backwards is KCORD? And you got your blast furnace cookin' plenty of redhot KCORDS on this one!
................................ROCK ON, BABY! (see Dani avatar pic)
Just terrific!
And, along with the Ventures, let's not forget Duane Eddy, with that deeeep git'tar. Remember him?
Aleck Rand (aka Dean Clark)
Dani,
I thought that was pretty cool.
It has this neat sorta garage band feel going for it...
I mean that as a compliment.
I enjoyed it.
Greg
Hi, Tommy !
Thanks for your kind comment !:))
I don´t know how I happened to
get out of the box but there I was
suddenly reliving those golden years !:))
Cheers
Dani
Hi, Janice & Bud !
I guess I am talking to Bud
but it could be anyone or all
of you ? (lol) !
Well......I in my turn can
recall a concert by The Shadows
over here around those times....
Cheers
Dani
Hi, Dean, my dearest friend !:))
Thank you for your most kind comment!
Who could ever forget Duane ?
I have a friend over in Italy who
plays a kind of baritone guitar
that gives that Eddy sound and maybe
even deeeeeeeeeper........!!
You´ll find him on the Hank B Marwin
Sound and Technical site...
Cheers
Dani
Sometimes you just have to let go and see what happens. And this was great fun! Good work!
Dani,
That was a wonderful instrumental as if done by a late 1970's punk band.
The Shadows meet the Sex Pistols
EXCELLENT.
Alyn
This has a certain appeal to it.... reminded me of the garage jam bands I played in back in years gone by..... fun times.... no cares except gas money and who had the recreational herbs, just play music and have a good time.
That LA Hard rock style.... I use that in quite a few country songs as well. It does tend to work well across genre lines. When I use it I tend to let it stay "BLUE" the entire song and use markers to create the fills as needed. The green half of the style is kinda strange so I rarely use it in songs.
Hi Dani,
That was a wonderful instrumental as if done by a late 1970's punk band.
The Shadows meet the Sex Pistols
Real fun song.
Guenter
Hi, Greg !
How nice that you liked my Garage Band
improvisation ! (chuckle) !!!:))
To tell the truth, I don´t think I could
replay this (well ok...if.....)!!
I thank you Greg for your kind comments !:))

Dani

John

Hi, Herb !

bring you back to school days (lol)

Dani
Hi, Guenter !:))
I am truly glad you liked this
garage band freak out of mine !:))
As the guys say it is good to be
out of the box every now and then ? (lol):))
It is an improvisation all through
but I had to write down the chords
to be able to play lead on afterwards !:))
The boys in the BIAB band are also very thankful.....
Cheers
Dani
Hi, Floyd !:)))
(Chuckle) Very much obliged for your
most kind comment !:))
Well......you wanted me to write
an instro and preferably a rock tune ?
...I tried to do as you wanted.....:))
I must say that the Biab band is really
superb too.They carried my feeble
lead !:)) I guess I am out of the box
now trying to figure out how to get into
it again ? :)) (lol)
Cheers
Dani
Hi, SD !
Thanks for your kind comment !
Maybe I should try and search
for my rock´n roll outfit from
1965 or so and gather the old
Bananas Band together again and get out
on a tour ???:))(chuckle) !!
Cheers
Dani
Hi, buddy !
Thanking you so much for your kind comments !
You bet it was fun, I still have sore fingers

Dani,
This is a fun, rocking song! I almost missed it (been in and out of commission for the past couple months). Good job of stretching the envelope!
Steve
Hi, Steve !
Thank you for your kind comments !
I sure pushed the envelope seen
from my own viewpoint, but the real
rockers are therein all the time or at least
most of it, have to bow my head for them !!!:))
Cheers
Dani
