Out of sheer respect and admiration for her, I wrote "Josie's Smile". I hope that she and everyone of her countless friends will enjoy it. I theorize that she has so many friends is due to her ability to express love toward others. One cannot give their love away without getting back tenfold.

Does anyone want to add lyrics and vox? Wow, would that make her smile for real, or what?
Hi, Don !:))

This is a very nice tune expressing
your feelings towards Josie !
A Very sensitive and sweet tune indeed !:))
Really enjoyed it very much !

Cheers
Dani
Very pretty Don. I'm jealous. smile

Josie
Thanks Don. LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!

I suppose it won’t be appropriate for me to put the lyrics to it?

JosieB ...should we just say "Josies' smile" and then it will be for both of us? (tip: note the placement of the apostrophe)

Hi Don
well worth giving you a nudge! lol!
A lovely piece and I can see Josie smiling. Some of the phrases in there have come out just right and would be worth looping to make a "hook" etc. However, it will be someone smarter than the average Bear (me!) to put words to it. Poet am I not.
Well done, Don
cheers

Hi Don,

this is a pretty tune and
good picking.
I was sure Josie would love it before she said so.

I have never had a true song (melody plus lyrics) before. I would love it!

Apparently, I have a gaggle of beautiful Josies to love.

Josie B, it will be a pleasure and honor to compose a wee ditty for you. I think that I've learned your genre preferences to be very similar to my own. So don't touch that dial!

Later,

Thanks so much amigo.

I'm anxious to see your next show. You seem very comfortable on "stage" we can all learn a lot from seeing you. Thanks again.

Don
Don,

Nice arrangement! Good sound. I can see why Joanne likes it.

Steve
Don, That is some great playing. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting. Thanks, Tom
Thanks, Steve and Tommy.

We can be very happy to have dual Josies in our midst. They are always the first to jump in and offer their assistance.
Very nice song. Love the guitar in it. Very nice melody
Don,
Very pretty tune and arrangement. Thanks for sharing
SD
Thanks, SD and Scott! All I did was to feed BB a chord progression then run alongside with cattle prod to keep it in the center of the road. It's one of those times when I would back up to the pay window knowing that I had not truly been responsible for much.

Thanks for squinting an ear at it and especially for your comments. They are especially encouraging.
Great Job, Don. Well done!
Nicely put together, Don. Have enjoyed listening (a lot!) - floyd
Don this is great. You did a fantastic job on instrumentation and mixing.

For an Old Irishman it must have been hell staying sober long enough to do this grin

Ducking and running for cover whistle

Have a Merry Christmas my friend!

Mario,

I think he keeps an IV with some 12 Year Old going at all times :>!

Great job Don, nice guitar playing. Beautiful sentiment too.

I like the idea of lyrics. You should give it a shot.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the kind words, Frank. I took the same songwriter course that Josie C did (Pat Pattison's) but I'm having recent recall issues. It would certainly be wonderful if I/we could add lyrics. Josie would surly love that.

I did manage to get her some prestigious musicians to evaluate and audition her album. They were much impressed. At the moment, her album is in some very good hands within the Nashville recording industry.
I took the Pattison coursera songwriting class also (if you're talking of that class). What a great instructor!
so sweet, just a beautiful tune!
