I watched them on the playground

He had taped up glasses and crooked smile and he walked a little pigeon toed

He was different than the other boys out there

the kids I watched that day didn’t seem to care

A real nice tune. What a great theme, I hope people do take notice of how we all need to take care of each other a bit more.
I liked the (more-or-less) acapella style lead-in for first two verses with just vocals and guitar, and then bringing in the rhythm section "A tempo" at 1:20. Worked nice.

Hi Tommy
A well thought out song with a theme that is all too familiar. You can believe that it is an "Issue" here in the UK as well. I shall not get on my Soapbox about it save to say that more direct action needs to be taken by Teachers and School Staff.
A great song, Tommy - this should go out World-wide.

Very good song and performance Tommy. The only thing I would add would be one more chorus where the bullied kid decides enough is enough then just WOPS the living you know what out of the bully.

Sometimes your songs speak directly to a listener. They conjure up the past, put images right in front of you and a rock in your gut. I had a tough time making it through this one but I managed. I was the kid on the ground with the taped-up glasses and, yes, I am pigeon toed.
