Here's another old one I wrote about my high school sweet heart.

https://soundcloud.com/horst_hartung/my-lady

For this one I played all of the instruments myself, using my keyboard or guitars....

My Lady
By Horst Hartung 1972
Intro:
Chorus: A
She calls out my name and I answer as I fall asleep
Loving her so as I’m holding her hand closed in mine
And my lady has love in her eyes

Chorus: B
Awaking to find her body beside me lay
Still holding her hand as she slowly opens her eyes
And my lady has love in her smile

Chorus:
Loving her’s all I know
Knowing our love grows

Cello Lead: Same as Verse:

And my lady has love in her smile

Sharing our love is like nursing a new born child
And know our love will go on for it never will die
And my lady has love in her eyes

Loving her’s all I know
Knowing our love grows

And you know that it’s love that we share

Hi Horst,
This one touches the soul!
Sensitive guitar, bass that carries the song well. Don't need more in that song. Reminds me of Donovan's best (hope thats a compliment, it would be to me)
Looking forward to your next song

Nice melody here and good choice of instruments to accent the softer vocals. Enjoyed listening.
