I do not recall the real tracks used or the style without going back and pulling the folder.... However, this is 100% real band tracks.
I do remember that this is Brent Mason on the guitar and I used 5 renderings of the same RB track, then used envelopes in Sonar to grab bits and pieces of each track to build the composite solo. No copy and paste, just selecting which of the 5 tracks would play at a given time. That was some fun editing.

I see this was originally posted back in 2014, but I'm really glad that it came around to the front page of the UserShowcase again! I can totally get behind listening to this kind of Christmas music on a more consistent basis! You really did a fantastic job. Can't believe it's already almost that time of year again!
