[Link no longer valid] is a jam that JonD and I recorded. JonD is playing the B3 via his keyboard controllers, I am playing the guitar and bass while Band-in-a-Box, Style = DeepDry 1 - Slow Southern Blues, supplied the drums. All were recorded on their first pass.

We hope you like it for what it is.

Very cruisy bluesy. Nice job for first pass recordings. Cheers.

Mario (Stevie Ray) D is in the house!!! Great blues jam. Guitar and B-3 are both top notch and play off each other perfectly. Love it!! Take care. Greg

Super Blues Mario & JonD
This is really smoke-filled nightclub stuff. I could hear Clapton & Cream in there too. Way nice!

This is a terrific listen, Mario and Jon. I really liked the tone of the guitar and the ultra-bluesy laid-back groove that you both performed with.

Regards,
Noel

This does have that classic blues club sound about, somewhere on a dark night in south chicago, I do believe. I bought a lot of blues album in my high school daze, this would have fit right in. Cool stuff.

Hi Mario and Jon,

that was fun! Don't you feel 40 years younger now?
A great jam. Enjoyed it.

Thanx all for listening and the very nice comments.

You must believe me I ain't no Stevie Ray or Eric, but I sure wish that I could play like them! Thanx for those comments though.

For those that were interested the guitar was a Kramer NightRider played through Ampitube 3 using the following preset: Amplitube 3 Free-Pure Amps-British Tube Lead-British Lead 2. That's right, it is from the free version of Ampitube 3, i.e. you don't need the paid version to get this preset. I just added a little reverb to the tracks.

Thanx again everyone.

Hi Mario.

Oh I DO like the blues.

This is just excellent. It has a wonderful live feel to it, with some great playing and a truly wicked sound on that guitar. Nice authentic B3 sound too.

A classic piece of blues.

Mario, Nice smooth sounding Clapton tone. Good blues chops! Jon- lovin me some B3. You know I'm a blues fan- so you know I love this. Good job. Q. What's the definition of a quarter tone?
A. A bagpiper tuning his drones. Tom

Man, we could listen to that all night. That sound would
pull us off a sidewalk and into a blues club for sure.

Tasty, tasty licks and tone! Nice organ, nice bass and
a cool production.

Jam on guys....
