Shigeki Adachi

I am always interested (and intrigued) as to the development of vocaloid phrasing and singing.

I think you have a presented a great effort here.

You have really demonstrated the developing potential of this technology.

Presented in a great song as well.

Hi Shigeki,

just great.
I love the original version. The vocals are a bit flat at times and should be a little more up front. But the phrasing is much more beautiful than the vocaloid.
Great song. Enjoyable listens.

Hi Shigeky,
You can reassure your friend Yoko, as Guenter, I much prefer her nice voice than the vocaloïd one ;-) there is surely a lot of work, but it remains a bit artificial. But, It could be also, the intention.

However, this technique is amazing and I don't say I won't try it one day, when the french langage will be available.

By the way, did you know the work made by Dcuny : https://soundcloud.com/dcuny/the-gates-of-babylon-vocaloid

Very pretty music Shigeki!! I like the way the music steps down in a repeating pattern. Michael Franks used this kind of progression often. It is sweet. Really enjoyed! Take care. Greg

Hello, VideoTrack, Guenter, Floyd, Pascal, David, Greg, and everybody,
Thank you very much for your warm and precious comments.
I was very encouraged by your comments every time.

Guenter, Pascal,
Thank you for your comments to the original recording.
I’m sure my friend Yoko will be very glad to read them.
Of course I prefer human vocal to vocaloid, but it is also fun for me to let Miku sing.

Pascal,
Dcuny has given me a comment to another vocaloid song which I posted here before.
Then I knew his Vocaloid song wich was beautiful.
And I found that Avanna had more natural pronunciation than Miku.

Greg,
Thank you for your comment to the chord progression, which I also like and I use similar progression often.

Thank you again to all and I will post my music again.

Hallo Shigeki,

I'ver really really enjoyed this song, expecially the one with the real voice - and what a voice !

May I ask you which external instruments (VST) did you used in the BiaB song you posted ?

Many thanks Shigeki for this Music gem !

Wishing you all the best,
Sergio

4 part strings: EastWest Symphonic Orchestra Gold
Vn I: 18 violins Butter Legato

HI ...

We enjoyed our listen very much. Several things came to mind as we listened:

1. Nice selection of tracks

2. Vocal was nice but maybe should be more forward in the mix (louder). Other than that, the mix was very good.

3. We loved the Latin arrangement with a touch of Classic R&B ... great combination!

4. The song mildly reminded us of "Girl From Ipanema", although your song is more aggressive (in a good way) and used the Classic R&B flavor to some degree.

We liked it a lot! Best to you ...

Nice latin sound. I like it, a little less vocaloid use but the music is
very well mixed and I enjoyed it.
