David,

This is great! The melody is really well shaped and your sense of syncopation is perfectly suited to the genre.

Not being a guitarist, all I can do is sit back a sail along on the stream of music. I thoroughly enjoyed the listen.

Noel

David

A great Latin delivery. The choice of instruments is really perfect. I'm not sure that the lead doesn't come up and down within the mix at times, sometimes more in front than at others.

Regardless, I really did enjoy it.

Great effort

David,

I really like all the stuff you are doing - your range is astounding...

This one didn't entirely "work" for me. The guitar on the right was too much like a lead - so it kept pulling my ear over there while your lead was sitting in the middle vying for attention. It might work if you moved your lead more to the left so they are playing off one another... but I think it would work better if that right guitar were a bit more supportive of your lead work.

Like Floyd, I found there was a little too much competition between guitars. But, overall it is really pleasant music and I think your guitar part is very good! Take care. Greg

Rob,

A true artist never gives away the Exact source of his inspiration. I guess you will just to wonder about this one forever.

David,
Pleasant guitar jam.
I think you said it was a Ramirez guitar. I was in Spain 18 months ago and went into the Ramirez shop and some English guy who could speak Spanish got me into the museum where they had the first Ramirez classical guitar, a guitar owned by Segovia and one by Clapton. Interesting shop!

Hi David,

When I saw the title I was expecting something along the lines of the Beach Boys... but I'm always pleased to hear nice guitar-based compositions!

I'm a little confused, however, because the comments suggest that you played one of the guitar parts, but you didn't list yourself as one of the track sources. If you did play the guitar part you should certainly note that because in my opinion that adds cool points!

On my system one of the guitar parts was much louder than the other, so I presumed it's because that track was intended to stand out while the other was intended to recede as a background item. Correct?

All in all I enjoyed the song... its not a genre I listen to very often, but it instantly put my ears in a pleasant place and it was very easy to keep listening!

What he said! "your sense of syncopation is perfectly suited to the genre." Yep, that nailed it. The lead
is very engaging.

We much enjoyed it.
