Hi Dan,
Congratulations on your #1 achievement!
Your song is fantastic! I really love the sound you've created. None can doubt that the song is made and mixed with expertise. As I sit here listening to your singing, the only word that comes to mind is 'outstanding'.
I really enjoyed this.
Noel
Hi Dan,
Congratulations on your #1 achievement!
highest in charts: # 9 (257,795 songs currently listed in Rock) Is also very impressive... I agree with Noel; "the only word that comes to mind is 'outstanding'."
Hi Dan!
This was immediately an attention-grabbing song to me! It's catchy and I like the guitar RT you used in conjunction with the driving drums!
I've reached an age where my hearing has a harder time separating sounds than in the past, so I have difficulty catching the words to a lot of songs... one thing that helps people like me is when the artist posts the lyrics to his/her song. Especially when it's a song with a message worth conveying, it seems a shame to miss an opportunity to make the message readable.
Your voice is very confident and capable.. didn't hear a bad note anywhere! You must be really tickled to have software that lets you create backing tracks for such a good voice to sing along with!
I don't know if this is the first song you've posted or not, but its the first one I've seen, so I'll take this opportunity to welcome you to the forum! I like what I hear so far! I think you'll fit right in!
Best way to warm up to the people here is to listen and comment on other people's songs... that's part of what makes it a community here!
The Glory is a good hook!
You singing reminds me of Paul Wilbur in his song Adonai:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9P5q_xo2a0 I would like to see the production of your bass and drums match the fullness of your voice and vocals
Nice song!
Nice song, I would polish the drums a little bring up the Kick, put some more punch in the snare. But, VOCALS WOW, guitar also WOW all around very nice.
Hi Dan,
nice song. Good vocals and harmonies.
I like the lead guitar a lot. Is it yours?
Congrats on your #1!
Guenter
Hello,
great song and sound.
Very nice.
Sergio
I like this song. Good news like that is always a welcome relief.
A couple of observations..... I agree on the bass and the drums.... rock thrives on a solid bass and kicking drums. Something to bring out the thump of the bass and kick and the crack of the snare......
The vocal is just a bit hot for the genre. I like to hear a vocal but it could sit a bit further down in the mix...... words would be good so folks could read the lyrics.
Really well put together!! Beautiful use of the RTs, excellent vocals and mix! This would be a great song to demo the power of BIAB. Really enjoyed it! Take care. Greg
I really like this. Excellent mix.
Thanks to everyone for the comments...they are very encouraging...BIAB is such a fantastic TOOL for guys like me that love to write but are not such great musicians...thanks for the tips...I will visit it again and do a remix most likely...thanks again, Dan

Pascal
Dan, I love this sound " Hard Rock LA Ev 120 guitar: Crisp Sync $ Fuzz Held " nice use of that sound
Really well put together!! Beautiful use of the RTs, excellent vocals and mix! This would be a great song to demo the power of BIAB. Really enjoyed it! Take care. Greg
I agree with Greg - really powerful song.
Pascal,
I have discovered that the soloist feature will not necessarily give you the leads that you want for a particular song...but if you record them to a good multi-track DAW (I use Cubase) then you can break them up into separate measures and fashion your own leads from the segments...essentially you break them down into puzzle pieces and fit them back together in the sequence you want them in...sometimes you get a pretty cool lead...Band in a Box played it but you built it.
