******We’re Not Strangers
Ken Mattox

See the schoolyards dancing in the moonlight
See the treetops floating in the breeze
In the silent halls we hear the echoes
Jesus loves the little children, Jesus loves the little children

Ooh, ooh, we’re not strangers, we’re His children
Ooh, ooh, we’re not strangers, we’re His children

See the man; he’s looking for an answer
See that woman crying in the night
Feel the hope and love that surrounds them
Jesus loves the little children, Jesus loves the little children

To these truths we hold, we’ll walk on streets of gold
We’re not strangers, we’re His children
No one can compare, His love is everywhere
Come to Jesus as His children

To these truths we hold, we’ll walk on streets of gold
We’re not strangers, we’re His children
No one can compare, His love is everywhere
Come to Jesus as His children

Red and yellow, black and white, we are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children
Red and yellow, black and white, we are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children

To these truths we hold, we’ll walk on streets of gold
We’re not strangers, we’re His children
No one can compare, His love is everywhere
Come to Jesus as His children (x4)

Thank you for any and every feedback

words:
I think this an outstanding song!! The structure is great, the arrangement is great, and the lyrics are honest and inspired. I think you should put some fx on the vocals and consider using a pitch plugin. I use them for tweaking. The song is wonderful and the arrangement great but there's a bit of a karaoke quality because the vocal is dry and sometimes pitchy. Awesome job!! Take care. Greg
Ken,

Good grouping of RT's. The solos are nicely done.
I agree with the comments that Greg made.

I love this man. It is very powerful and authentic. Great performance, great vibe, great hook, great singing.

Right on.

P.S. I might want to cover this is in Church with my Praise and Worship Band. It would be a great song for Sunday service. Love it.
Thank you for your comments, they are extremely encouraging. I will work with improving my vocals.

PS. David, that would be quite an honor

Hello,

nice listening of the ensemble,
very well producted.

Very good.

Sergio
Mattox,

Have you thought about posting the BIAB file and lyrics for people who might want to cover this in church? Not sure how others are doing that but I know Floyd posted one of his BIAB files somewhere on one occasion.

Anyone have any advice on how to do that if others want to share?

I apologize in advance for my ignorance.
