This is a song I wrote called Father & Son

https://soundcloud.com/ken1959/father-son

Words:
Father and Son
Ken Mattox

Lord, we seek your way, we come tonight in praise
We listen to the winds, they tell your story
We open humble hearts, seek a brand new start
We fall onto our knees, and feel your glory

What can be said about the love that bled from the Father and the Son?
We call on your name and we bear the shame, knowing You’re the only one

We see the barren cross, count our lives as loss
We offer up our hearts and see your glory
We call upon your name, raze an empty grave
We shout out to the lost this is your story

What can be said about the love that bled from the Father and the Son?
We call on your name and we bear the shame, knowing You’re the only one

We have overcome, thru the power and the glory
The blood that flowed, has fed our souls and we live to tell Your story

We have overcome, thru the power and the glory
The blood that flowed, has fed our souls and we live to tell Your story

We have overcome, thru the power and the glory
The blood that flowed, has fed our souls and we live to tell Your story

I hope you like it, I look forward to any and all comments

Hi,

We attempted to listen to your song on Soundcloud but got an error message everytime: "Couldn't process your request on time." We have no problem with any other soundcloud tracks. Just thought we'd let you know. Plus, we're anxious to hear your song! Happy New Year,

Alan & Di

Hi!

We finally got the song to play for us. So glad we did!Love the backing tracks and the emotion in the lyrics is evident in your vocal presentation. Nicely done!

Excellent back track and vocal
Starting to listen, like the intro very much, there's a quality to that guitar, I suppose I'm feeling the spirituality, but the voice then comes in and it's really a pray.
Nicely done! The vocal sounds a little distorted to me, although I think you sang it very well. Good stuff! Take care. Greg
