This is a great vehicle for Janice's great vocals. It's so in the pocket. Professional in every way. Great mix and production. Have to send some kudos out to Bud - Vocals are so crystal clear.

A nice storyline, mindful a bit of Holly Dunn or even something Tom T. Hall would have written in the day.

I think this would have worked as a bluegrass tune as well.

Enjoyed it from start to finish.

So beautifully written!! This is what country music always tries to achieve and doesn't always get there. It is sweet and sincere but not sappy or trite. It is a tribute to the father, a tale of hard work to make a dream come true, and a heartfelt love of a girl for her father. BEAUTIFUL!! AND, Janice kills it, of course-awesome vocal!
