Hello, cubanpete

Very cool tune. I love this.
The atmosphere of the Jazz Club is so well expressed.
The use of Vibraphone is very effective.
And your MIDI skill is great!
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Mike

You got a great sound going there.

I really liked the 'live' ambience.

And those Vibes filled it out really perfectly. Sultry, sweet, easy to take, no doubt.

"Cuban Pete"...

I could smell the cigarette smoke (in spite of the "No Smoking" signs!), and heard the tinkle of ice cubes in tall glasses in your latest, "Sweet Scent." The title lends the air of a new jazz standard to this piece.

Somewhere up "there" in jazz musicians' Heaven, George Shearing, Red Norvo, Scott LeFaro, Connie Kay, and a host of other jazz "greats" are looking down and giving you quite an enthusiastic nod... smile

You've got a solid feel for the genre. In particular, the vibes had that dreamy, ringing sound characteristic of the instrument. I'll have to check out that Real Track.

I always enjoy listening to your compositions. Time to cut an album!

Sincerely,

LOREN (a.k.a. "bluage")

Very cool tune. Loved the vibes. Song has a feel from a Vegas lounge in the 60's. Well done
