Dear Mr. Devienne...
After previously listening to "From Gypsy Waltz to Swing", and now, "Blue Gypsy Waltz", I am rapidly becoming enamored of the compositions you post on the User's Forums.
The main reason is that I'm unfamiliar with "gypsy" music. The second reason is that, as far as your compositions are concerned, I'm discovering a great deal of hot, tasty excitement in the "gypsy" rhythms, and as much warmth and sweetness in the sound of fiddles and accordions that are featured in your songs.
"Blue Gypsy Waltz" is won me over simply because I absolutely love the waltz tempo in music of any genre. The feeling of the blues saturates every note of the song, but it's not so "blue" as to be downbeat.
I'm looking forward -- eagerly -- to listening to any and everything else you post here, Mr. Devienne!
Sincerely,
LOREN (a.k.a. "bluage")
This has a very nice feel to it. Nice arrangement. Great job on the accordion lead.

I enjoyed this very much it gave me feeling of the third man
Loved this song. Loved the rhythm to the song. And some very cool solos
Bonjour Christien,
Nous aimons le Jazz de Bohémien. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la guitare acoustique. Très agréable, effectivement!
I (Alan) hope I didn't make too many mistakes. My French speaking and writing isn't so good any more. We loved it!

Hello, Christian
Very pleasant gypsy jazz waltz!
I always enjoy your songs.
Your chord progressions you write match the jazz theory.
Please tell us how you studied it if you do not mind.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi
Hi Shigeki,
I compose all my songs with my guitar.
I like very much gypsy jazz music and I've listened to and played a lot.
For this song, I've just played what I had in my head. My fingers have found the right chords to follow the melody.
On Soundcloud, I've added the chords and the melody. Christian
Very nice! We felt like we were in the Hot Club.
