Hi rsdean, Really soothing vibe! Love those guitar swells and the progression of the song. Great lyrics too! Well done!
Hi Bob,
What a great arrangement! I really liked listening to how you sweetened the mix with musical flavours... it's something that I don't do enough of in my mixes.
I enjoyed the write, your performance, and the production too. Everything worked for me. You managed to create a sense of nostalgia and memories of 'what used to be' in my mind. It was a pleasant journey.
All the best,
Noel
Bob,
Dreamy with rhythm. Very cool images in the lyrics and a perfect arrangement - you left lots of space between the pedal steel embellishments.
I could just loop this and watch a moonrise!
Robert
Great tracks and great use and arrangement of them
I think this my new favorite of your songs
(love that bass!) cool song, strong write

We think Noel described this perfectly. Great job, Bob!
The Atmospheric Pedal Steel was just so danged cool. And as kenny mentioned, the bass line was terrific - sort of a modified "Under The Boardwalk" feel to it. All your backing tracks were spot on. Everything in its place and added exactly what was needed. Thanks for a great listen.

Hi Bob.
This is simply inspired.
I just loved EVERYTHING about this song.
The lyrics a little bit mystical, the backing simple but varied, the perfect vocal delivery, just EVERYTHING.
Going back for another listen right now.
Cheers, ROG.
Bob
Really pretty loved the build up and very melodic.
A very nice song with an inspired use of the pedal steel.
Peter
Joe,
Much appreciated - thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.
Bob
Noel,
That's very kind - thanks so much.
Bob
Super arrangement. Everything works so well together. Great rhythm baseline for the steel guitar. one of your best and a new favorite for me.
Enjoyed this from start to finish. Every time I listen.
Charlie
Robert,
Thanks - very glad you enjoyed this.
Bob
Kenny,
I appreciate that - thanks!
Bob
Bob, I've heard a lot of great material from you on the forum, but I think this is my favorite one from you! This has such a great feel to it and that pedal steel makes this song really shine. Thanks, Torrey
So creative how you put this together. Totally enjoyed!
Alan & Di,
Thanks very much.
Bob
Bob, Terrific editing on the steel. It was very effective. A fine overall feel to this. One of your best. Enjoyed, Tom
Gorgeous!, Bob...
As always, your lyrics make one stand up and take notice...
The production on this is killer. Great RT choices. The acoustic strum is excellent. The bass good enough to carry the song alone. The steel is exquisite. The drums... truly "POP!" - Super well done!!! And a great mix.
A great listen. One of your all-time best!

Hey Bob,
You always have such great lines, and such an inimitable vibe that is all your own.
However, this one does remind me an awful lot of one of my favorite bands of all time--Television. I may have may that comparison before, and I mean it as a high compliment!!!
Wow loved the start of this song Bob. This is a super lyric, super vocal and acoustic guitar done well. Well done
ROG,
Thanks so much for listening and the kind words!
Bob
Peter,
Thanks very much.
Bob
Charlie,
I appreciate that - thanks.
Bob
Great! Has your signature sound for sure. What I really like is how you arranged this, the way you brought in the drums and bringing in the pedal steel at all the proper places.
One of your best.
Torrey,
Thanks - much appreciated!
Bob
Man, do we ever love your "airy" mixes. No track ever seems to steps on another. We work hard to achieve that and your productions are a great reference toward that end.

Dittos to all of that.
"I remembered to wake tonight
I remembered tonight
I could see the room grow dim
In a broken ray of light
You run through my mind like a silver blue greyhound"
Love that!

Great use of realtracks! Love the arrangement and the write. Beautiful use of the pedal steel too.
Very emotive and engaging!
Josie,
Glad to see you back here - hope you are on the mend!
Thanks so much for listening and the kind words.
Bob
Floyd,
That's very nice of you. Thanks - much appreciated.
Bob
Very cool tune Bob!! I love the arrangement. I always use the pedal steel on top of a full arrangement. Having it laid over a sparse arrangement is a great vibe-gonna have to try that myself. Really nicely put together. Enjoyed much!! Take care. Greg

Hello, Bob
Very Pop!
Nice melody and pleasant vocal.
The chord progression is the royal road of Pops.
I personally wanted to hear the bridge melody somewhere in this tune.
Very enjoyable listen.
Best regards.
