Really like this Bob. Very Lou Reed. Great energy and the production is superb.

Yeah! I can dig it.
Very retro sound, Lou Reed as David mentioned, some Dylan in there too. Nice to hear you try something different!
Nice job on getting that lead guitar realtrack to play the fills in the right spots BTW, sounds very natural the way you have that arranged.

This is very cool. Loved the scratching you put in it. Gave the song a very different feel. Cool lyric and vocal. Well done

What a tune, rsdean! Definitely getting a Bob Dylan/Lou Reed sort of vibe - maybe Daniel Johnston, ever so slightly as well. That unique vocal delivery paired with that production, and you got a hit! You deserve to be proud of this one!

We can agree 100% with David. Needless to say, we also dig the song ;-)

You made me look up Minetta Lane (I initially thought it might have been someone's name) and Café Wha?. Darn it, you made me learn something today!

Simple and catchy, I like it. It sticks in my ear, which isn't the case with a lot of songs.

Dave,

Thanks - I wanted to get a big guitar sound. Glad you liked it.

Hi Bob,

This is a really cool song! And it's very different from what you normally do. Some great mixing going on here - lots of things going on and each handled perfectly. You really dug deep deep into your creative soul on this one. We loved it! Great song and delivery!!!

I agree, very Lou Reed. Great recording. It really picks up the feel of London around 1973. Took me back to Bell-Bottoms and platform shoes.

Another good one, Bob! Always like your writes. This is a different style from what I am used to hearing from you, but you really make it work. Nice arrangement and mix.

Wow! You took me by surprise with this one! You've certainly let production creativity loose here and have put together an arrangement and a mix that are superb. Once I recovered from my surprise, the first thought that popped into my mind was "This guy really knows what he's doing!" Really enjoyed it.

Outstanding!

All the best,
