Hi Ron,

Definitely a really nice country tune! Nice lyric with the comparison of life in the UK and in the US - especially at Christmas time. Nice!

So glad ya'll enjoyed it! The guitar is the dobro straight off the Portage style. Sounds great though!
Thanks for sharing, DC Ron! Very interesting lyrics on this, I like how engaging it makes it! Really gives some insight to the differences that occur during Christmas time in different parts of the world.

Deryk, thanks for the kind comment. It IS a nuanced lyric that does touches on both the distinctions between geographical holiday observances and the dissonance felt by those in one place when their references are from another place entirely. Wish I could think of stuff like this! smile
