Just finished this song a couple days ago and I am out looking for engineering advice in particular but any critique is great to hear. I am thinking about the genera for this as well, maybe Dark country as subgenera of Americana? Or maybe you can think of something better. This was recorded using Studio One Professional, but it was written on BIAB as is most of my stuff. BIAB lets me play with chord progressions and the use of various instruments to test in different locations before committing to record anything for real.

I love the droning groove you manage through out.
If any thing I would like to hear some delay on the vocals
but that's a minor thing.

I had not even considered delay on the vocals, I will play with it some, might be cool.

What a tune! I really liked this - it was calm, but powerful at the same time. The vocals on this were incredible as well!
