Hi all. Fell in love with this style and had to write something for it.
Fun song with no real back story. Hope you enjoy it.
All comments welcome. Rob
Cool and Calm and Callus

If you left me all on my own.
I'd follow you tomorrow.

you dont care you cause me pain.
A life times full of sorrows.
......................................................................
I watch you laugh as you walk out the door.
Cool and calm and callus.

Your steely smile still burns in my heart.
All torn apart by you malice
.....................................................................
Bridge

......................................................................
I watch you laugh as you walk out the door.
Cool and calm and callus.

Your steely smile still burns in my heart.
All torn apart by you malice
.....................................................................

Bridge

Come that morn when you'll gone
I will you back I beckon.

Pretend I never knew your name
Can not bare the though for a second.

Hi Rob,

Yes, this is fantastic track. Your voice works perfectly for this one ... and many others. When I lived in San Antonio, TX, many years ago, Jalisco music from strolling Mariachi bands on the River Walk .The San Antonio River runs through the heart of the city and the banks on either side are highly commercially developed. This brought back a few good memories. Really enjoyable! Wishing you well,

Alan
WHAT a fabulous song ! Jeez, Marty Robbins would have recorded this one for sure
Awesome song Rob. What an excellent vocal. Trumpet was very cool as well. I sure get the Marty Robbins vibe. Well done

Hi Al. Im glad this tune bought back some memories for you. Im glad you enjoyed it.
I have another waltz coming out soon. Thanks again Rob
That is really nice Rob. Not many folks would tackle a song of this genre. You did...and you did it convincingly well.

Cool video imagery also.

Glad you discovered that style!

Cool tune. Love The sound and good use of video with it as well. I think the instrumental alone would be great for licensing in TV or the movies. Great job.
Rob

Sounds great and quite different. Nice trumpet solos and your vocal sounds right on the money.

Peter
Well done, Rob. Good write - cool rhyme callus/malice...

Good vocal. Good mix. Cool sound over all...
What a tune! It reminds me of something you'd hear in an old western film, for some reason. I really liked how moody it was, both in the arrangement and in your vocal delivery. Those horns were the final icing on the cake for me.

You should be proud of this one, Rob smile Thanks so much for sharing!
Wonderful vibe, wonderful melody, and wonderful vocal!! This all works great-creates such a mood. Great stuff Rob!! Take care. Greg
Love the melody, the trumpet, the minimal lyrics, the style and the vocals.
Gunslinger sound. Thumbs up.
Cheers.

Hi Samuel. Thanks for the comment and the tip. Rob
"Rob4580"...

You, sir, are a balladeer! Every time I listen to your songs I think, "This man could compose and perform songs even if he was hard-of-hearing".

That's because your songs seemingly always tell a story, their use of Band-in-a-Box styles is varietal, and considering your current offering, "Cool, Calm, and Callous", downright adventurous.

And then, there's your singing, which is full-bodied and (dare I say it?) heroic-sounding, even. Keep all this up, and soon somebody's gonna steal you away from the User's Forum!

Thoroughly entertained,

LOREN

Hello, Rob

Sad song!
Very fascinating.
As Alan said, Your voice works perfectly for this one.
It reminds me of Presley's film "Fun in Acapulco”, for some reason.
I heard Mariachi for the first time in the movie at that time.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi
Rob, perfect in every way to my ears! Vocals are great and good work syncing that video up! Thanks, Torrey
