The rhythm section is lush, hypnotic, and almost subterranean in its percussive effects. Your chord progression moves the song through emotional highs and lows that is characteristic of the "bossa nova" genre. The combined effect is noirish and sweetly sad, as a slow-to-medium tempo bossa nova should be !!!
